Setting up your BrilliSIM eSIM on Google Pixel
Pixel 3a, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 series and newer supported models
Before you start
- Pixel devices generally have excellent eSIM support.
- On newer Pixel models, multiple eSIMs can be active at once.
- Physical SIM and eSIM can run together without issue.
Method 1: Easy install (fastest)
- On your order confirmation page or email, tap the "Install eSIM" button
- Your Pixel opens Settings automatically with the plan ready to download
- Tap Download SIM and follow the on-screen prompts
- Tap Confirm and name the plan
- Set the eSIM as your data SIM when prompted
Method 2: QR code
- Go to Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs
- Tap Add next to SIMs
- Tap "Don't have a SIM card?"
- Tap Scan QR code
- Point your camera at the QR code from your order page or confirmation email
- Wait for the eSIM profile download
- Tap Confirm and name the plan
- Set the eSIM as your data SIM when prompted
Method 3: Activation code (manual)
- Go to Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs
- Tap Add → "Don't have a SIM card?"
- Tap "Enter manually" or "Use activation code"
- Enter the SM-DP+ Address from your order page
- Enter the Activation Code from your order page
- Follow the prompts to complete installation and set it as your data SIM
Troubleshooting
- No Add eSIM option
Confirm your model and carrier support eSIM in your region.
- "Install eSIM" button does not open Settings
Open the link on the Pixel itself. If it still fails, use the QR code or enter the activation code manually.
- Install stuck
Switch to stable Wi-Fi and retry.
- No signal after landing
Set eSIM as mobile data line and enable data roaming.
